TheDive was founded in 2015 with the mission to contribute to shaping a life-centric economy. An economy where economic success, humanity, and ecological balance are no longer contradictory.
The Dive Logo

We support leaders and teams on their journey towards a life-centric economy.

As a think tank and lab, we constantly develop new ideas and products, which we test on ourselves to shape the workplace of tomorrow.

Being part of an exciting network, we maintain constant contact and practice radical co-creation.

A prototype of an organization
that prioritizes the principles of life at its core

What we stand for

We believe that a life-centric and regenerative economy is possible.

In our work, we take inspiration from the principles of life: We recognize the planet and interdependencies as the foundation of all life and human actions. We understand the power of cycles and continuous renewal, and we view diversity as a crucial factor in our resilience. Instead of just addressing symptoms, we take a holistic view of the challenges within our environmental systems.

We start with ourselves

We see ourselves as a prototype of an integral organization of the 21st century. Therefore, we believe that change begins with ourselves and is simultaneously interconnected with influences from our collective environmental systems. We use our organization as a laboratory for experimentation, learning, and growth. On our own playground, we can often be more radical than in our client projects, while also generating impactful insights for the diverse transformation needs of our clients. Our approach to change follows the principle of "safe enough to try"; we dare to try new things in small steps. If tensions arise along the way, we adapt accordingly.

We work self-organized and tension-oriented.

This means on one hand, each individual decides when, how, and which tasks to complete. On the other hand, it means that as individuals, we take full responsibility for identifying tensions and proactively seeking solutions to issues we perceive. We view tensions as any impulses for change, which can include ideas, questions, or even (difficult) emotions.

We understand that this requires trust and a safe environment. As an organization, we work every day to create structures that foster psychological safety and self-efficacy, thereby enabling intrinsic motivation and accountability. Our clients also benefit from this approach: in an autonomous and tension-based system, not only is leadership more distributed, but it also allows for strength- and competence-based work.

We flourish through connection

It is our belief that organizations can only thrive if the people within them do too. We see TheDive as a space that aims to strike a balance between individual freedom and vibrant community.

We celebrate what unites us while recognizing our differences. Self-care and care for others are essential to sustain the entire system powerfully.

To achieve this, we constantly strive to improve in respecting our resources, recognizing our needs, maintaining boundaries, and continually evolving in our relationships with one another. One might say we are “growth companions” to each other.

We learn to be transparent

Wir adhere to the principle that all essential information is transparent, unless there are compelling reasons against transparency in specific cases. This ensures that the entire organism of TheDive is informed about itself.

We strive to avoid "knowledge hoarding" and information silos. Externally, we are transparent to the extent that it does not harm the company or individuals. We communicate openly with each other rather than about each other, and share what concerns us even in challenging situations.

We tolerate contradictions and believe in a both-and approach

We constantly remind ourselves that life consists not only of hard, visible, rational-driven outcomes, but also of soft, invisible, emotional magic.

Therefore, we strive to maintain a balance between the tangible and intangible, between profit and purpose, between order and emergence, between doing and being.

We embrace the ambiguity and the beauty that arises from it.
We don't take ourselves too seriously, practice lightness, and trust the process of life.

Our Approach

We support and empower leaders and teams to open the next chapter of their own development.

With a passion for holistic organizational development and balanced process design. With sensitivity to building bridges between the old and the new.
Using innovative methods. At powerful locations.

Our Team

Our team consists of courageous, passionate, and responsible experts. A diverse blend of unique individuals who not only take joy in systemic-integral consulting but also share a common set of values.

Christian Fust (he/him)

Christian always follows his energy and curiosity. This journey has taken him through the world of professional sports, university, and eventually into the corporate realm. What excites him most is starting with a proverbial "blank sheet of paper" for every project—approaching each assignment with an open mind, letting go of old ideas, and trying out new ones. He is particularly drawn to cultural transformation, unafraid of asking tough questions and embracing confrontation when necessary.

Christian's goal is to inspire people, each at their own pace and in their own way. He leverages his enthusiasm, humor, and playful approaches as catalysts for change.

Claudia Brückner (she/her)

Claudia thrives in creating work environments where time feels well spent, and she develops these environments where this feeling doesn't yet exist. By questioning everything, experimenting, improvising, and embracing the new, Claudia, as an Experience Designer, crafts interactive workshops and co-creative space concepts that are not just models but trendsetters.

As a pioneer Design Thinker, she critically observes what it takes for us as individuals to stay mentally and emotionally healthy during digital transformation, aiming to expand our autonomy whenever possible. Perhaps soon, or at the latest in her next life, she plans to realize her 'Art of Gathering' in a cocktail bar in Barcelona.

Cornelius Schaub (he/him)

Cornelius has a passion for connecting people and ideas, likely rooted in his upbringing surrounded by diversity—whether through sauerkraut and kimchi or the fields of development economics and decision analysis. His favorite connections are those that bridge internal dilemmas and unite people with each other. Opening a space where they can harmoniously collaborate brings him into his "flow."

In the game of life, Cornelius learns the most from his wonderful children, enjoying both meaningful moments and playful nonsense reminiscent of his time in circus arts. He dreams of a world where we experience (un)sense together with mutual respect and appreciation.

He acts as a coach, consultant, and companion on continuous transformation paths alongside his clients. His approach often involves experiences, experiments, and strengthening interpersonal relationships. Privately, movement remains a central theme for Daniel, particularly in the mountains, where he can be found hiking, mountain biking, or skiing.

Eduard Munkhart (he/him)

As an engineer, Edi has always been on the lookout for solutions to problems. His dream is to work within an entrepreneurial coalition of individuals who share the same vision for making a difference in the world.

His guiding motto: Holistic or nothing.

Jones Kortz (he/him)

Jones has specialized since 2002 in guiding teams towards building a culture of communication rather than talking past each other. His inspiration comes from the mindset and skills of the "Rosenberg model." Feedback and conflict competence play a crucial role in enhancing team performance and spirit for him. Only when a team experiences enough psychological safety in their interactions does the spiral of trust and transparency begin to rise. Jones cherishes moments when interpersonal tensions transform into relational potentials because, as he believes, good work requires good relationships!

Lars von Hugo (he/him)

Lars is deeply rooted in the world of communication. For a long time, he applied his skills to organizations and brands.
