Our vision

TheDive was founded in 2015 to help create a life-serving economy. Our vision is a world in which economic success, social responsibility, and ecological equilibrium are not mutually exclusive. It is a world in which companies make the planet more beautiful and alive instead of contributing to its demise.

TheDive embodies the values of a 21st-century organization. While we do not have all the answers, we take the questions seriously. Every day, we think about how we can help forge an economy whose highest concern is human well-being.

Achim von Wietersheim

Im Psychologiestudium entdeckte Achim seine Faszination für Menschen in wirtschaftlichen Systemen. Seitdem begeistern ihn Organisationen, die ihre Mitarbeitenden ernst nehmen und genau deswegen allen richtig Spaß machen. Zur Zeit tariert er die richtige Balance zwischen klugen, fundierten Methoden und gutem Bauchgefühl in der Personalarbeit aus. Dabei helfen ihm seine Liebe, zur Wissenschaft, seine Lust auf Neues und seine Freude am Dialog.

Ana Escodar

Mit ihrer spanischen Mentalität hat sie frischen Wind in die Buchhaltung gebracht. Ihre Ausbildung hat sie in Spanien absolviert aber die Praxis hat sie in Deutschland gewonnen. Sie liebt es, wenn alles seinen Platz hat. Das hilft ihr ordentlich und organisiert zu arbeiten. Unter Excel Tabellen und Konten fühlt sie sich wohl. Ana ist voll überzeugt, dass Humor immer hilft und auch unter Stress Situationen ist es wichtig, den Spaß bei der Sache nicht zu verlieren. Denn nach dem Sturm scheint am Ende immer die Sonne.

Andreas Lerche

Andreas is passionate about value-based accounting and the sociology of management accounting in general. When he is not working on how to make finance processes human and helpful for self-organised companies in the 21st century, he enjoys doing sports in nature and dreaming of a better (business) world.
In his previous life, after learning a profession as a retail salesman and a master degree in management & economics, Andreas was CFO of a medium-sized machine building company and the managing director of the German branch of a French cosmetics group.

Berrak Sue Sarikaya

Sue has been working in various organizational contexts and realized that her heart beats for issues surrounding the paradoxical world of new work. She is particularly interested in exploring what makes people happy at work and how we can create a sustainable and humane economy that addresses the challenges of our time. For this reason, Sue is researching whether and how purpose ownership can contribute to this in practice. With TheDive Sue is embracing various interests, for instance product and community development, diversity or communication. Among friends and colleagues, Sue is known as a social millenial, relationship and future enthusiast as well as proud possibilist ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Constanze Bürkner

Constanze believes in those magical moments, when hearts open and souls touch. With her skills in communication and psychology, her systemic understanding, her creativity and her truly human competence she works towards building those key moments in change processes – then stepping back and trusting that the result will be the best possible …. Much alike what she practises with her teenage children growing into adulthood.

Eva Hohenberger

Eva erforscht in ihrer Dissertation als teilnehmende Beobachterin Formen der Selbstorganisation in Familienunternehmen. Auf sie gehen außerdem die ausgefallensten Spitznamen für Kolleg*innen und die legendärsten Spiele für unsere Weihnachtsfeiern des Jahrhunderts zurück. Ihr persönliches Treat-Yourself-Programm für Notfälle: einen Luftballon kaufen. Und wenn es darum geht, andere aufzuheitern, singt Eva schon mal mit Ukulele oder Gitarre begleitete, selbst komponierte Lieder für uns.

Felix Herter

At TheDive, Felix works as a trainer in the Loop Academy and can develop his enthusiasm for light-footed structures and processes in the organisation of the Academy. Felix is particularly concerned with helping to shape a world in which companies take it for granted that they will live up to their social and ecological responsibilities and in which people meet the challenges of our time with joy, a spirit of innovation and a willingness to create.

Frederik Fleischmann

Frederik knows and values that order and new work don’t have to be antagonists. At TheDive he focusses on how self-management can be implemented in a way that it actually works and supports the organization. A balance of head and heart is always important to him. He proved this in his previous positions as internal and external organizational developer and – typically for a Berliner – he worked in the founding team of a startup. His academic education is in business studies – untypically there he dived into the science of happiness.

Kerstin hat schon 2012 einen Verein zum Thema „Neue Arbeitswelt“ gegründet und widmet sich seitdem in unterschiedlichen Kontexten der Frage, wie authentische Zusammenarbeit auf vertrauensvoller Basis aussehen kann. Und wie fangen wir damit eigentlich bei uns selbst an? Bei TheDive erforscht sie, wieviel Prozessstruktur und klare Regeln bei Selbstorganisation nötig sind, damit Projekte leichtfüßig abgewickelt werden können. Wenn sie das mal nicht tut, steckt sie ihrer systemischen Therapieausbildung oder treibt sich beim Wandercoaching in den Bergen rum.

Marianne Škvorc

Marianne hat sich mit ihrer Vorliebe für To-Do-Listen zunächst in diversen Projekten der Werbe- und Fashion-Branche verausgabt. Dabei ist ihr Wunsch nach mehr Purpose in der Arbeitswelt so stark geworden, dass sie schließlich bei TheDive landete. Ihre Leidenschaft liegt in der Auseinandersetzung mit dem Selbst und allen Facetten, die beim Erforschen des Innen und Außen zum Vorschein kommen. Ihre momentane Ausbildung als MBSR-Coachin ist daher eine logische Konsequenz. Auch ihr kroatisch temperamentvoller Monkey Mind findet am liebsten in der Meditation seine Ruhe.

Maya Biersack

Maya liebt es, Teams zu begleiten, dabei die Freude an selbstorganisierter Zusammenarbeit zu wecken und auf dem Weg ungeahnte Schätze zu entdecken. Sie ist überzeugt, dass ein sinnstiftender Zweck, klare Strukturen, Transparenz und viel Empathie der Schlüssel zu gelingender Zusammenarbeit sind. Insbesondere Holacracy und Gewaltfreie Kommunikation sind ihre Lieblingsthemen – am besten in Kombination.

Als Mitgründerin und Vorständin einer kleine Aktiengesellschaft (IT) hat sie Unternehmertum gelebt und 16 Jahre Führungserfahrung gesammelt. In ihrem ersten Berufsleben war sie Diplom-Informatikerin.

Petra Meyer

Petra started off with a classic career in large corporations – in order to change the system from within. That got out of sight rather quickly but fortunately, her curiosity had already gotten her in contact with design thinking, lean development and agile org design which again opened up her view on the world. Today, she’s a co-diver with all of her heart and striving to bring teams, people and challenges into a better fit. Preferably, she’ll do that based on agile working methods, but with a lot of love and understanding for corporate workers and their realities. And the clear statement that work should never be the only thing in your life, but always life-nurturing. That’s a great start for change from within.

Simon Berkler

Simon began his career in brand and communication strategies. After training in holistic approaches, he took a year off to travel the world. From the many great experiences and conversations during that time grew his passion for organizational transformation and his enthusiasm for peer networks. He is a supporter of Impact Hub Berlin and an original co-founder of B Corp Deutschland. In the summers, he likes to spend as much time outside as possible.

Theresa Maier

Nach dem Auszug aus der sonnenreichsten Stadt Deutschlands hat Theresa die letzten Jahre mit viel Leidenschaft der Psychologie, dem Studieren und dem Reisen gewidmet. Als das nicht mehr gereicht hat, hat sie neben dem Studium eine systemische Coachingausbildung abgeschlossen. Seit 2018 nutzt sie ihre Neugierde sowie ihre analytischen und systemischen Fähigkeiten um für TheDive neue People- Prozesse zu entwickeln, beweglich zu standardisieren und umzusetzen. In den letzten Zügen ihres Masters beschäftigt sie sich mit der Frage, welchen Einfluss verschiedene Arbeitsformen eigentlich auf die einzelnen Menschen haben.

Theresa Sauter
Uli Schoop

Uli seeks to release potential – in organisations as well as in people. He finds motivation in cultural differences and commonalities, and draws strength from mountains and interpersonal relationships. His response to the time-honoured question What’s the point? is to build trust, discover new perspectives and deliver a healthy dose of humour. He focuses on four sources of potential: innovation, conflict, leadership and change. Among those he has helped tap into these resources are large corporations, family-owned businesses and research institutes. Wherever he’s at work in Germany or abroad, his children’s laughter always brings him back home.

Vincent Lauenstein

Vincent brings people together. He facilitates change processes and organizational development with shining eyes and open arms, ideally under open skies. As an experienced tracker, he supports individuals and teams in following the trails within themselves as well as around them. He easily crosses sector boundaries, having worked for social enterprises, foundations and global service providers. Designing emergence-inclusive processes is his specialty. When he is not busy disrupting entrenched patterns of thought and behavior, you can find him meditating at a campfire or giving out free hugs.
