Change and transformation require individuals who can drive them forward with passion, structure, and empathy. With the right tools, we can all help our organizations make a positive impact, step by step.
Our academy offers a variety of courses, including introductory sessions, full-day workshops, and part-time professional trainings. These are available in different price ranges and time commitments, empowering you to drive change from within.
You want to learn the tools to guide teams toward more self-organization using the transformation framework The Loop Approach®? Then our training to become a The Loop Approach® Fellow is the right step for you.
Duration 2-4 months | 10.5 training days | In-person & remote
As a Stellar Practitioner in regenerative economics, you will learn how to introduce regenerative practices into any team, gradually making team performance more sustainable and regenerative. It's about regenerative economics on the job, rather than sustainability training on top.
Duration 2-3 months | 8 sessions | Hybrid & in-person
Yes, in our Loop Fellow training, you will receive an official certificate that is recognized for educational leave. The Fellow training is again recognized under § 10 (1) sentence 3 of the Berlin Education Leave Act starting from November 14, 2023. If you are from another federal state and wish to apply for educational leave, please feel free to contact us. We are happy to assist you.
Our trainings and workshops generally take place at our Base1 location in Berlin Wedding, specifically at Uferstr. 6, 13357 Berlin. In case of emergencies, we can use other spaces. On special occasions, we also offer trainings at our Base8 location, situated within the MATES Co-Working Space.
Some formats are also offered remotely. For specific details on where each format takes place, please refer to the course pages.
Yes, as part of our extended training curricula, we offer the opportunity to conduct group trainings internally within your organization. If you are interested, please feel free to contact us, and we can discuss the details together.
Yes, we offer various entry-level formats to suit different needs. If you're looking to get an insight into regenerative economics, we recommend our one-day Masterclass – you can find more information here. Additionally, our individual training sessions provide an opportunity to get a first-hand experience of learning at TheDive. For specific questions about the training to become a trainer for transformation or regenerative economics, we recommend attending our informational call sessions. You can find the current schedule here.
You would like to participate but cannot afford it? We are aware of the challenges many face in accessing personal development and education, particularly individuals from non-academic backgrounds and those facing multiple forms of discrimination. We believe that if we are serious about creating a life-sustaining, regenerative economy, access to this knowledge should be available to everyone possible.
For this reason, this year we have reserved what we call "opportunity tickets" for four Academy offerings at a "pay what feels right afterwards" (gross) price.
If you need help determining your needs, we have created a guidance tool for you.
This year, our opportunity tickets apply to the #03 and #04 cohorts of the Stellar Practitioner training for regenerative economics, as well as cohorts #28 and #29 of the Loop Fellow program. You can find the schedule here.
Attention: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule trainings if the total number of participants is too low. Additionally, our terms and conditions (AGB) for training, education, and further education, as well as the certification and licensing terms of the Loop Academy, apply. You can review them here and here.
**Under structurally (multiply) marginalized groups, we include all individuals who identify as migrant, BiPoC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color), or FLINTA (Frauen, Lesben, inter, non-binary, trans, asexuell), face societal barriers, are chronically ill, or undertake extensive caregiving responsibilities for relatives.
*Our facilities at Base1 Berlin are unfortunately not (yet) wheelchair accessible. If you belong to individuals facing societal barriers or undertaking caregiving responsibilities, please reach out to discuss potential accommodations. Some of our events are held remotely.
🤝 Socially Engaged Individuals
If you are largely involved in social activism (e.g., in NGOs or associations) and can only engage in paid work to a limited extent, but believe that our offerings could be of significant value to your/your organization's work, we encourage you to apply for the opportunity ticket as well.
🎲 Selection process
You can apply for the opportunity ticket at any time
Reach out to Sue in her Diversity, Equity & Inclusion role why you are applying for an opportunity ticket, which date would be suitable for you and to what extent participation could help you in your work and personal development.
We do not want to presume to weigh up neediness or experiences of discrimination. That is why we accept applications from the above-mentioned people up to 4 weeks before the start of the respective training programme and then decide by lot to ensure a fair and neutral selection process. If you don't win the ticket for the programme, don't be sad. You can give us your consent to participate in future formats if your application is cancelled.
The winner will be informed by our seminar administrator in good time before the start of the respective training programme and informed of the next steps.
🤝 Your contribution is important to us
In order to continuously improve our process and measure the impact of the opportunity ticket, we would be delighted to receive your feedback on today's process and the extent to which you consider it to be fair and non-discriminatory.
Also: As soon as you have completed the training, we would be delighted to receive an anonymous final report from you on the extent to which the training has helped you on your personal and professional journey. This is voluntary, of course, but it will help us to make our contribution to greater (social) justice visible and to be able to offer more such tickets in the future.
Do you have questions about our trainings and workshops? Our consultant and trainer Felix will be happy to answer your questions by mail or in a personal meeting.
At TheDive, we constantly create new things.
