In the historic factory buildings of the former knife factory DICK, the Base⁷ is located in the heart of a vibrant scene in Esslingen. Where meat and specialty tools were once manufactured, there are now creative offices, restaurants, a cinema, and much more. With the Base⁷, we have captured the iconic atmosphere of DICK's legacy. The open loft space combines the industrial look of the historic building with modern, flexible furnishings and plenty of greenery. In short, with the Base⁷, we have created an inspiring playground where your ideas can flourish.
Workshop Space
Whether it's a project meeting, innovation workshop, or creative session, our space provides an innovative work environment for various events accommodating up to 24 people. The agile workstations can be easily rearranged and configured to suit your needs. For breakout sessions and group work, the gallery serves as a retreat area. We offer a wide range of working materials including colorful Post-its, various markers, LEGO, clay, wigs, and even a swing—to really get ideas flowing. To recharge, our coffee lounge offers cool beverages, coffee, and tea, and we are happy to organize catering as well.

Event Space
Whether it's a formal reception, evening lecture, client event, or party, the Base⁷ gladly opens its doors in the evenings. We provide a presentation area with a projector for keynote speeches, talks, or screenings. In this exceptional setting, colleagues, friends, or clients can gather for exchange and celebration, enjoying the creative and comfortable atmosphere of the Base⁷.
Community Space
The Base⁷ is also designed for networking meetings, hangouts, or community events. In a circle of chairs, results can be discussed as a group and ideas exchanged. The tranquility zone, furnished with carpets and cushions, invites moments of reflection. The reading corner provides a cozy space for intimate conversations, while the long table on the gallery is perfect for meet-ups. To kickstart the day in a relaxed manner, we offer breakfast, and to wind down after a workday, we organize communal dinners.

By Car:
Accessible from Stuttgart via B10, take the Esslingen Weststadt exit. Driving time from Stuttgart city center is approximately 30 minutes.
Parking: Access via Kandlerstraße to the DICK parking garage. From there, proceed directly into the courtyard of the DICK Center. Immediately on the right, about 50 meters towards the courtyard exit to Fleischmannstraße, you will find the Base7.
By Train:
Just a 5-minute walk from Esslingen train station. Esslingen is well connected to Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof by S1 towards Kirchheim/Teck, as well as R-Bahn R1 towards Ulm and R8/R73 towards Tübingen.
By Plane:
Approximately 30 minutes by taxi or by taking bus 122 towards Esslingen (N) ZOB from Stuttgart Airport.
